Survey Completion Percentages
78% of you have answered the pledge survey over the last week thank you! It would be amaze amaze amaze we could get the last 22% of your responses this week so that we can start working logistics on our end.
Chinese Language Inventory
We found a small amount of Chinese Pampero inventory in the US! If you would rather change your pledge to CN, then message me directly, either here on KS or at [email protected]. A few things to note:
- Project Verne will not be in CN, but rather in whatever other language you chose. Note that the only localized components in Project Verne are the rulebook, player reference, and box.
- First come, first-served, though you get priority if you happen to be in the US or CA. We have about a dozen copies of the base game and Clear Skies expansion AND JUST ONE Nature expansion
- Shipping price will not change. Your items will ship from the US, but to keep things simple, the price will be the same as whatever you would have paid to receive the products in language you previously chose.
- I would like to sell full sets only - all three games (or two games once someone claims the first set).

Questions have arisen after the surveys went out, so I wanted to create this follow-on post to help answer them.
Bonus Scoring Tiles
Before the campaign started, we hosted a pre-campaign reservation page where people could indicate their interest in the project and, if so inclined, pay $1 to get bonus scoring tiles. These bonus scoring tiles were also available during the campaign as a $5 add-on.
If you were part of the pre-campaign reservation, then there was no need to add these to your pledge and pay the extra $5, unless you want extra copies. If you did add on the extra scoring tiles, then you can remove them from your pledge in Backerkit. That amount can be applied to shipping.
Also, if you were part of the pre-campaign, don't add the scoring tiles to your pledge in Backerkit - we have your email and will add them to your pledge.
If you paid $1 during the pre-campaign and didn't get an email from [email protected] last week describing all this, then check your spam/junk/trash folders for it. Let me know if you cannot find it.
If you were not part of the pre-campaign and you want the extra bonus scoring tiles, then feel free to add them to your pledge in Backerkit if you did not already do so during the Kickstarter campaign.
Shipping Payment in Pledge Manager
I had said in previous posts that you should not pay for shipping until closer to when the pledges ship later this summer - all we need now are your survey answers. Saying that has caused a lot of confusion because you cannot apparently submit the survey without providing your payment information. So, go ahead and do that, but note that we won't charge you until later.
Pledge Over Time Backers
Pledge Over Time backers won't appear in Backerkit until after the last payment is complete in Kickstarter. You should get an email from Backerkit within 48 hours of the last payment.
Backerkit Pledge Surveys Sent

First, please don't pay yet! I am really just interested in getting the language information back so we know what games need to go where, and how many need to be printed in each language. You can also add items to your cart now, if you choose to. Those prices won't change.
Shipping prices won't be solidified until closer to sending your pledges.
Backerkit Smoke Test Sent

This is just a quick note to notify you that the surveys went out to 5% of Project Verne backers. Backerkit has us send a 'smoke test' to a limited audience in case we messed something up. I would ask that you please complete them ASAP. Note that shipping+VAT won't be collected until closer to ship time.
On the production readiness front, final documents (rules, player reference, box) have gone out for translations. Once those are back we'll send the art to the printer.

Raising over $80K in a campaign with a $28 pledge is pretty remarkable. Just as remarkable is getting over 1100 backers. We knew Pampero was remarkable, but you showed that in the first campaign and again in this second one.
A few things to talk about.
Unlocked Wooden H2 Tokens
First, we didn't hit the $100k stretch goal for wooden H2 tokens. But, as Captain Barbossa said in Pirates of the Caribbean, stretch goal funding amounts are "what you'd call guidelines than actual rules." So, without further ado, I'm unlocking the wooden H2 tokens at no extra charge. Project Verne already has a lot of wooden components, but now has 20 more wooden H2 tokens!
Special Thank-You Tiles
Not only that, we've got another not-available-in-stores thank-you reward like we did first season - three more bonus scoring tiles just for backers (and post-campaign pledgers and possibly conventions)!
These are in addition to the add-on scoring tiles (that were also available during the pre-launch reservation).
And we'll include the season 1 thank-you connection tiles with the proper tile backs.
Of course, we'll add instructions for all the tiles.
Upgraded Scoring Tile Add-On
And last, I recently found even MORE scoring tile. We're therefore upgrading the bonus scoring tiles add-on to have not just 3 but 5 tiles! Yes, this includes those who added tiles for the pre-campaign launch reservation.

Finally, we're opening the pledge manager survey before the end of the week, though we won't be collecting shipping payment until closer to ship time. It is extremely important that you complete it ASAP, so that we know how many of each language are required.
